Platform that connects people to local nonprofits, community organizations, and worthy causes. The app makes it simple to browse through events and activities that are happening in the USA. Client’s app also allows people to create their own events, which empowers them to take initiative on causes they care about

Team

You will be a part of a great team, which consists of 10+ team mates. Some of them had experience on executive positions in enterprise companies like NOKIA etc.

Requirements

Our perfect candidate/s match such requirements:

• HTML5

• PHP

• MVC Framework

Services and APIs:

• REST

• SOAP specifically working with:
Google Maps, Facebook Graph, Instagram, Keen.io, WP, etc.

• Ajax, CSS

• JSON, JQuery

• JS based frameworks esp React

SCM tools:

• Github

Database administration and statements:

• MySQL

• ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) routines

• Dimensional modeling and schemas

• Heavy lifting with metadata and metastores

Will be a huge plus if:

• You have an experience with high loaded systems

• Site performance optimization

• Developing mobile application using React

• Experience with No-SQL Databases

Responsibilities

• Known methods for latency improvement and performance optimization

• Implement object oriented design and best practices including code to test(unit)

• Agile principles including focus on demo working code, work breakdown structures, continuous integration, kanban boards

• Ability to go from wire-frame or whiteboard to integrate, code, and iteration

• Can quickly determine LOE (Levels of Effort) on proposed architecture and solution concepts

• Available to accommodate US Pacific time standards and schedules

• Development of the project and database architecture

• Direct reporting to the CTO

• Be a part of hiring process of the future team members
