This position supports handling sensitive prototype materials to accelerate Tesla's innovation. The technician manages low volume prototypes for engineering trials, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate handling, storage, and delivery of materials according to build plans. Responsibilities include preparing prototype materials, transporting them using mobile equipment, and identifying parts for testing, with proficiency in computer systems and material handling equipment preferred.

Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm;
Monday - Friday

• Configure new or changing materials in production on schedule
• Implement new processes and repackage materials with proper labeling
• Support special projects related to warehouse layout, signage, and procurement
• Validate and kit components for engineering builds
• Escalate discrepancies or quality issues
• Work across multiple warehouse sites in Fremont, 901 Page, Deer Creek, 3000 Hanover, Hayward

• Understanding of warehousing operations and Tesla systems; proficiency in MS Office and warehouse software
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Experience with forklift and mobile equipment
• Ability to stand long periods and lift 30-50 lbs

$28.75 - $42.73/hour plus bonuses and benefits. Compensation varies based on experience and location.
