Responsibilities

Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries.

Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in call coverage on a rotating schedule.

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with hospital policies.

Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing care.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery.

Active and unrestricted Texas medical license.
