Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an RN Medical Surgical for a top Healthcare client. This core position provides direct nursing care, assuming responsibility for assessing, planning, and evaluating comprehensive patient care needs according to organizational policies and protocols. The RN utilizes critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast‑paced environment, working with minimal supervision to deliver high‑quality, professional care to patients.

• Provide direct nursing care in strict accordance with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization
• Assess, plan, and evaluate the comprehensive care needs for an assigned patient population throughout their stay
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to manage patient care tasks with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment
• Maintain professional practice, ensuring all care is documented accurately and completely in the patient record
• Perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, and the moving/lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
• Demonstrate effective customer service abilities, including excellent listening skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated and safe approach to patient care delivery

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing is required

• Acute Care RN experience is REQUIRED – Must be within the last three (3) years. Flexibility

  If the candidate possesses several years of overall RN experience, the acute care experience may be within the last five (5) years
• Prior Med‑Surg experience is preferred (implied by the job title)

• Current FL RN license or appropriate compact licensure is required
• If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire
• Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider is required

• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in clinical situations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong customer service abilities and the physical ability to perform frequent lifting/moving tasks (up to 50 lbs)
