Our Maintenance Team is a core part of that success—keeping homes, condos, and resort properties running smoothly, safe, and guest-ready at all times.

We’re seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our growing operations team.

In this role, you’ll perform repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections across a portfolio of vacation rental units. You’ll work closely with housekeeping, property managers, and operations leadership to ensure every property meets Panhandle Getaways’ quality standards.

• Perform general repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance for condos, homes, and office spaces.

• Complete monthly HVAC preventative maintenance and ensure systems operate efficiently.

• Respond to maintenance requests quickly—diagnose issues, complete repairs, and communicate status.

• Create, update, and close work orders in our systems, documenting parts used and work completed.

• Collaborate with housekeeping and property managers to ensure units are guest-ready before arrivals.

• Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry as needed.

• Conduct periodic property inspections and address safety or maintenance concerns.

• Work both indoors and outdoors—sometimes in Florida heat (pack sunscreen!).

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and company vehicle.

• 2+ years of maintenance or repair experience
  , preferably in vacation rentals, hotels, resorts, or multifamily housing.

• Strong understanding of general maintenance trades—HVAC basics, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, etc.

• Experience using maintenance software such as Breezeway is a plus.

• Excellent time management and follow-through—able to handle multiple tasks daily.

• Strong communication skills (text, phone, app-based updates).

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (last 3 years).

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, and work on feet for extended periods.

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed—vacation rentals are busiest when others are on vacation.

• Competitive hourly pay: $20–$24/hr
