Accountant; CPA

• Verify, integrate, and validate accounting records in the ERP system.
• Perform monthly accounting close and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial consolidation processes and intercompany eliminations.
• Prepare financial statements for internal use and external regulatory bodies.
• Manage tax filings (ITBMS/VAT, with holdings, schedules, and income tax).
• Review foreign remittances ensuring tax compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Stay up to date with applicable accounting and tax regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based companies is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Panamanian tax regulations.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting systems (Net Suite, Oracle, or others).
• High attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and follow-up on deliverables.
