* Processing Center located in Panama City is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting Department. The primary functions of the Accountant are to prepare accurate and timely financial statements and maintain an adequate system of accounting records. The Accountant will perform detailed balance sheet, revenue & expense variance analyses, and support the management area in any related assigned activity.

Duties NOS Responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in coordination with the Panama and U.S. Finance and Accounting department.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Review and process expense allocations, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit bank reconciliations and assist with Treasury-related activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in accounting systems.
  • Assist with tax filings and other compliance requirements as needed.
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international team.
Training and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. Master’s or CPA are preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience preparing financial reports and performing reconciliations.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems. Working knowledge with SAGE and/or Acumatica is a plus.
