Job Summary
State and federal contractor looking for a Laborer/Pipelayer with heavy civil construction experience. Typical work activities include working in all types of marine and industrial environments such as dry docks, piers, wharfs, mechanical utility tunnels and other waterfront building structures on Naval Facilities and other state and federal sites. The initial need for this position is for pipe and utility removal and replacements project at NSA Panama City, FL.
Individual must be a punctual, dependable, self‑motivated, team player who seeks out opportunities to take initiative.

Base Pay Range$18.00/hr – $20.00/hr
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the removal and replacement of piping systems and underground utilities.
- Perform general construction labor in support of marine and industrial infrastructure projects.
- Work in various environments including confined spaces, low‑light areas, and wet conditions.
- Safely operate tools and equipment relevant to concrete, piping, and demolition work.
- Support trades as needed and perform duties outside primary responsibilities when required.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly as part of daily duties.
- Maintain flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, or extended hours based on project needs.
- Lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
- One (1) year of construction laborer experience; pipe laying and concrete work.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to pass drug screening (at time of hire and randomly while employed).
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL‑‑compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military , in accordance with the REAL .
Must be able to remain alert and focused for extended periods. Good communication: regular interaction with supervisors, crew members, and safety personnel is expected to ensure safe and productive worksite conditions.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience on federal or military construction sites.
Work is performed primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and humidity. Exposure to loud noise levels from equipment and machinery; hearing protection may be required. Work may take place on uneven, muddy, or rough terrain. Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and stooping required throughout the shift. May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces depending on jobsite requirements.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, and may include hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, high‑visibility clothing, and toe‑protected boots. Potential exposure to dust, fumes, and other airborne particles.
Davis‑Bacon wages are the local prevailing wages required for mechanics and laborers on federal or federally assisted construction projects.
