GCUC is looking for a full‑time Heavy Highway & Civil/Utility Construction Estimator to join our team! We offer competitive pay and benefits are available after a probationary period. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, & life insurance, as well as paid holidays & simple IRA.

• This position will prepare estimates by calculating complete take‑off of the scope of work; price work items and review terms and conditions of subcontractor and vendor bid packages/ and serve as a liaison with subcontractors and vendors during the bidding process.
• Will maintain files of working documents as a backup for estimate figures, including current (accurate information on prices from suppliers).
• Attend meetings with suppliers and subcontractors and prepare presentations to clients (when required).
• Communicate and reinforce the company vision, values, and goals.
• Assist in Project Management as needed.

• Candidate MUST be self‑motivated and have the willingness to learn.
• Strong phone and communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline‑oriented.
• Organized, accurate, and consistent.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Works well with others in a fast‑paced environment.
