Job Summary /

Description:

WJHG/WECP Northwest Florida’s leading news stations seek a Broadcast/IT Engineer in Panama City Beach, Florida. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day hands-on maintenance of the technical infrastructure supporting all live, recorded, and post-production projects. This individual must be hard-working and self-motivated with an ability to thrive in high-stress situations. The candidate must be available to work during breaking news situations, severe weather, new system integrations and updates, and be part of the Engineering Team’s on-call rotation.

At least 2 years of working experience in IT/Broadcast Engineering is required. This position also involves periodically working in Master Control for the station’s 12 channels.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
