Job Summary: HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their North Florida Division are recruiting a Medical Director based at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Florida. HCA Healthcare is a leading provider of healthcare services with over 185 hospitals and 2,400+ sites of care across 20 states and the UK. Our pathology service line comprises over 200 board-certified multispecialty pathologists providing professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare hospitals and commercial clients, focusing on quality, evidence-based, and cost-efficient pathology services.
Qualified Candidates:
- AP/CP Board Certification required
- Preference for 2 years of hospital-based Medical Director experience
- Comfortable with full scope of AP and CP
- Recent experience in surgical pathology and clinical interpretations
- Experience performing frozen sections
- Excellent interpersonal skills and group management experience
- Florida license or ability to obtain one
