Optometrist

Pan Care of Florida is seeking a compassionate and skilled Optometrist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive eye care services including exams, diagnosis, treatment, and preventative education. You’ll play a vital role in improving vision and detecting ocular diseases while working alongside other healthcare professionals to support the overall health and well-being of our patients.

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and detect eye conditions or diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses (glasses and contacts) based on patient needs.
• Diagnose and manage eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive errors.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventative care, and treatment options.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed and follow up on complex cases.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in optometry and related technology.
• Provide exceptional patient care and foster a professional, comfortable environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Current Florida state licensure to practice optometry.
• New graduates welcome; prior optometrist experience preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge of eye exams, diagnostics, and treatment.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
