At Kraton, we make a Positive Difference, and we are looking for individuals who are also looking to make a difference in their jobs, for our customers and to the world. We are looking to hire a key member of our Operations team at our Panama City, Floridalocation.

The Maintenance Manager manages the strategic and operational maintenance functions/activities in the plant to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services meeting Kraton standards and is beyond the customer’s expectations. Ensures a safe, environmentally sound, reliable facility by planning, setting standards, and formulating policies; develops procedures and practices, and training. Responsible for auditing, ensuring root cause failure analysis, recommendation, and implementation of improvements, and follow-up.

• Lead the maintenance organization responsible for continuous repair and improvement.
• Interface for all central contracted work in the plant, which includes both cost and capital work.
• Give functional directions to the material, engineering and inspection process which identifies, prioritizes, develops scopes, plans, and starts up capital projects.
• Manage the planning, scheduling, staffing, and execution of shutdowns.
• Serve on the Plant Leadership Team (PLT).
• Develop self, direct reports, and other leaders through training, use of teams and problem solving.
• Set direction and implementing key improvements in support of the business objectives.

• Strong business and technical skills in continuous and batch processing, reliability, SAP utilization and maintenance.
• Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
• Systemic problem solver, implementing solutions to solve root cause problems.
• Ability to create an environment that encourages and rewards teamwork and collaboration, both internally and externally.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and strong facilitation ability.
• Experience in the management of change.

BS in Engineering.
