What you will doThe Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op in Panama City, FL provides college students with challenging assignments, leadership training and exposure to our company's senior leaders. Through meaningful work projects, our Co-op program offers candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degrees exposure to a variety of assignments, including:
- Waste elimination projects for manufacturing areas
- Standard work creation and updates
- Manufacturing process improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing)
- Industrial engineering studies
- Value Stream capability studies
- Capital equipment expense requests
- Manufacturing Process Automation and systems integration
- Data analysis of manufacturing and warehouse operations
- Process Risk assessments for Quality, Ergonomics and Safety
- Energy Audits
- Working towards a BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree
- Overall 3.0 GPA or above
- Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc., or exceptional leadership of work projects)
- Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly
Relocation: 3,500
Base Pay Range: 24.00 - 27.00
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. This base pay range is based on US national averages; actual base pay could vary by seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.
