CEI Project Administrator role at Barge Design Solutions

We are looking for a CEI Project Administrator based in our Panama City Beach, FL office. The position involves oversight of transportation, utility, and other infrastructure projects, with preference for roadway and bridge experience. Responsibilities include construction contract administration, field inspection, maintaining construction logs, producing meeting agendas and minutes, coordinating with senior inspectors, providing instruction for field-related duties, making technical decisions, reviewing monthly project schedules, monitoring construction progress to ensure contract compliance, and directing tasks to administrative and field staff throughout all phases of construction projects.
Responsibilities- Apply critical thinking skills in specific practice area, using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks.
- Coordinate construction meetings and produce minutes for review and distribution.
- Oversee the Contract Support Specialist in office-related duties such as progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, construction contract changes, etc.
- Assist CEI team members with other office-related tasks.
- Communicate effectively in English (both verbally and in writing).
- Think independently and work collaboratively in a group setting.
- Have knowledge of and experience working with FDOT Standard Specifications, FDOT Standard Plans and FDOT Construction Project Administrator's Manual.
- Familiarity with FDOT plans, procedures and policies.
- Eight (8) years of CEI experience or eight (8) years of roadway/bridge construction experience on relevant projects.
- OR a Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree plus two (2) years of engineering experience in the construction of roadway/bridge projects.
- CTQP Final Estimates Level II or ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire.
- CTQP Quality Control Manager or ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire.
- FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) or ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire.
