Responsibilities
- Support the PCD University (PCDU) Program Manager, Mentoring Program, and Workforce Development Director in assessing and implementing workforce development strategies.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance on systems including Waypoints, Total Workforce Management System (TWMS), and the Human Capital Center website via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist employees in updating transcripts and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- Monitor mandatory training compliance, report delinquent statuses, and generate system reports.
- Participate in NAVSEA HQ Waypoints Tag-Up meetings.
- Schedule and manage PCDU training events (virtual and in-person), including rosters, waitlists, and reporting within specified time frames.
- Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative and vendor representatives to provide class rosters and attendance data.
- Support strategic planning, workforce shaping, data collection, and special projects.
- Conduct annual workforce development needs assessments using organizational inputs such as IDPs, business plans, and environmental trends.
- Provide administrative support for Government-led training programs, including Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and PCDU.
- Manage document control for New-Hire Onboarding processes and forms on HR SharePoint and Waypoints.
- Schedule and maintain onboarding and supervisor training sessions, manage rosters, upload materials, and produce timely reports.
- Monitor supervisory training compliance and update relevant systems accordingly.
- Provide technical and administrative support for audio-visual and communication needs during WFD courses.
- Update training records in Waypoints and TWMS.
- Collect and analyze course evaluations and survey data, reporting results to the WFD Program Manager.
- Attend WFD Branch meetings as required.
- Maintain and analyze the Employee No-Show spreadsheet to identify attendance trends.
- Conduct historical data entry for training attendance records up to seven years.
- Security Clearance: Must have a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 Background Investigation for access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- Education & Experience: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Tableau, and familiarity with TWMS, Waypoints, and the Human Capital Center website. - Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance and support across multiple platforms. - Organizational
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines within tight time frames. - Analytical
Skills:
Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. - Interpersonal
Skills:
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including program managers, HR personnel, and external vendors. - Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in managing records, reports, and training documentation.
- Experience: Prior experience in workforce development, training coordination, or HR support in a government or military environment is highly desirable.
