Software Testing Associate

SAIC is seeking a
Software Tester for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program based out of Panama City, FL.

The qualified candidate will support the JEXC2 program, providing IT support to expeditionary C2 and C4I military systems.

• Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite.
• Test new software and technology.
• Create trouble tickets and report issues and actions taken daily and weekly.
• Communicate effectively with test directors and other personnel via phone, email, chat, etc.
• Maintain test materials and documentation as required.
• Train computer users and assistants.

Work schedule:

5 days a week, core hours 0800 to 1700. Hours in excess of 40 per week may be required during contingency operations. Remote work is not permitted.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors and 0 years’ experience (4 years’ experience accepted in lieu of degree).

Required

Certifications:

DoD 8570 Baseline Cybersecurity Certification such as CompTIA Security+ (must have prior to hire). IAT Level II or above certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).

Required Skills:

• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2019 or newer.
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Roles and Features related to Enterprise services.
• Security+ certification.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required prior to first day of employment.

Travel up to 40%.
