Overview
Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide, delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.
Summary:
The Domestic Operations (DOMOPS) Desk Support shall provide personnel to operate the DOMOPS desk Monday – Friday (1400 – 0600) and provide 24-hour coverage for all weekends and federal holidays. Weekend hours are defined as Friday 1400 – Monday 0600. Duty location is typically the 601 AOC and/or within CONR-1 AF/A4SO based upon the need of mission. Contingencies and exercises may dictate relocation to a new duty location temporarily.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide personnel to operate the DOMOPS desk Monday – Friday (1400 – 0600) and provide 24-hour coverage for all weekends and federal holidays.
- Coordinate CONR-1 AF (AFNORTH/AFSPACE)/CC (and higher headquarters (HHQ)) information requirements and immediate response coordination with respective agencies for all non-air domain incidents, events, or activities.
- Direct and perform initial and follow-on reporting of Commander’s Information Requirements for the DOMOPS Desk.
- Simultaneously coordinate up, down, and laterally in verbal and written forms to ensure timely reporting, analysis, and notification to affected officials and organizations throughout the USNORTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Monitor and coordinate reports with DSCA, National Security Emergency Preparedness Directorate (NSEP), and AF Rescue Coordination Center (AFRCC) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), as required.
- Coordinate with respective SMEs to support nine MAJCOMs, multiple Field Operating Agencies (FOAs), and one Direct Reporting Unit (DRU).
- Coordinate, implement, and execute processes associated with either the CDRUSNORTHOM or CDRAFNORTH/AFSPACE’s Critical Information Requirements.
- Monitor all current and future information systems/platforms (classified and unclassified) and report activities affecting Air Force and Space Force assets/equities.
- Handle, process, draft, edit, and review law enforcement sensitive materials.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to analyze complex data and situations, and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Strong capability to identify problems, think critically, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in teams or cross-functional environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience within the Command and Control and/or Law Enforcement fields.
- US citizen.
- Must have a Secret clearance.
