The beginning annual salary will be between $48,000 and $54,000. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in a similar field is preferred

The Information Systems Manager (ISM) for the Public Defenders Office, 14th Judicial Circuit, Florida, serves as the focal point for all technical related issues for the Public Defender (PD) within the circuit. They are responsible for user support of computer hardware, software, peripheral devices, and network hardware and administration. Additional responsibilities are support of organizational phone systems (Panama City and Marianna), building security system (Panama City), and cloud-based collaborative systems.

The ISM is responsible for support of the PD’s case management system (STACWEB), serving as the overall administrator for the system. The ISM also serves as the Security Training Manager, providing quarterly and periodic user training on computer, network and Internet security, including malware and phishing attacks. The ISM is responsible for providing estimates/quotes for new equipment and applications, including technology related supplies, in a timely manner.
