Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in the safe operation of fabrication shop equipment such as manual lathes, mills, and saws
• Experience in the safe operation of CNC lathes and mills
• Knowledge of CADCAM software
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings with GD & T
• Ability to analyze CAD software files to incorporate into machine programming and setup
• Ability to perform inspections on completed parts using various calibrated measuring equipment and identify and report nonconformance features
• Ability to execute machining techniques, select tooling requirements, and formulate sequencing and set up fixtures to produce conforming fabrications
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
