Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with existing schedules or department supervisor's priorities. Reviews schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue and to locate material. Requisition s material and establishes delivery sequences according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material. Arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet schedules.

Arranges with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation. Examines material delivered to production departments to verify if type specified.

• Process purchase orders with suppliers to acquire necessary materials and ensure timely replenishment.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, verifying contents against order documentation.

• Coordinate the internal distribution of supplies to various departments or production lines according to project schedules.
