Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Med-Surg RN to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring that patient care needs are properly assessed, planned, and evaluated. You will be working in a supportive environment where your expertise and care directly contribute to improved patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Patient Assessment: Assess patient needs and collaborate with the care team to develop individualized care plans.
  • Patient Care: Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and provide compassionate care in alignment with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Critical Thinking: Utilize judgment and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions regarding patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Provide patients and their families with education on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: At least 3 years of acute care RN experience (experience doesn’t need to be in Med-Surg). If you have 3 or more years of experience as an RN with a compact license, you can apply for the Florida license after relocation.
  • Licensing: Active RN license or compact licensure (Florida license required within 90 days of hire).
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • Skills: Strong customer service abilities, effective communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving patients or equipment (up to 50 pounds).
Additional Information
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1, occasionally 7:1.
