Quality Technician

We are hiring a Quality Technician at btd grupo
.

• Control the traceability of materials, construction processes, and technical results.
• Verify that quality control procedures are correctly applied.
• Validate laboratory results, field tests, and technical inspections.
• Supervise on-site activities and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Document findings, corrective measures, and follow-up results of non-conformities.
• Propose preventive actions that contribute to continuous improvement and technical compliance.
• Ensure the availability of evidence and records required by the quality management system.
• Report deviations or incidents that may affect the quality or safety of the project.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields. Valid professional license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control for infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in implementing quality assurance plans, laboratory testing, and materials control.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain organized technical records.
• Willingness to collaborate with different technical areas and contractors.
• Clarity in communicating technical findings and coordinating corrective actions.
• Focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in computer tools (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for preparing technical reports.
• Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and laboratory results.
• Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO standards, and national technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
