Overview

Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

This position is with Sam’s Club. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. The full job description can be provided as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, completing required audits and documentation, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, delivering deli products, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
  • Comply with company policies related to freezer/cooler operations, including food handling, equipment operation, sanitation, Cold Chain procedures, area cleaning, and reporting issues to management.
  • Maintain and monitor temperature controls, ensure expiration dates are verified, and dispose of lesser-quality food products as needed.
  • Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays; keep the area clean and member-ready.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
