Responsibilities
  • Professionally represent the employer and estimate/quote Fire Sprinkler Systems for various facilities
  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers through scheduled sales calls and follow-ups
  • Develop and maintain relationships with major customers and contractors to negotiate and close quality orders
  • Apply proven sales principles and practices to exceed sales plan objectives
  • Grow the Sprinkler Service business by developing ongoing customer relationships
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience in sprinkler system sales or a similar field
  • Previous sprinkler design experience, including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations
  • Strong desire to succeed and self-motivated work ethic
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers, including Windows and Oracle systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and understanding current NFPA 13 standards and local codes
  • Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and organize work efficiently
  • Willingness to work as a team player and collaborate with others
