OHE Laborer/Groundman – Mas Tec Power Delivery

The OHE Laborer/Groundman is responsible for preparing and cleaning construction sites by removing debris and hazards, loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment and machines, and helping craft workers with their duties. This position supports the Construction team and works with personnel within the department.

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and possible hazards.
• Assist the tradesmen in completing their skilled task more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew dig to prevent utility hits and assist in manually digging.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies ensuring crews have the proper tools and supplies to complete the job.
• Seed and straw.

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

• 1 or more years of experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.

This job operates in a field environment. It routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and twisting. It may involve working in inclement weather, including extreme heat or cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. The employee must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and maintain good vision and hand-eye coordination;

color recognition is required.
