DKB Delivery Driver’s are responsible for driving and delivering materials to vendors and job sites. In this role, you must be able to work effectively in a team environment with a strong emphasis on safety.

• Drive delivery truck to vendors and job sites.
• Load and unload materials efficiently and safely.
• Check accuracy of loads by checking Pull Sheet.
• Pick up trim and accessories as needed for jobs.
• Process material returns as necessary.
• Check in materials when delivered by vendors.
• Stage material for upcoming jobs
• Follow best safety practices both on the road and while loading or unloading the truck.
• Meet delivery deadlines consistently.

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Ability to safely operate a hand truck, and other equipment.
• Adherence to company policies; must pass motor vehicle report, and 5-panel drug test as per company policy.
• Ability to read and understand packing slips and bills of lading.
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and other employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (ex: Excel, Word, etc.) and interested in learning new softwares and applications.
• Capable of reading, comprehending and following simple instructions.

• Must have the physical ability to move large and heavy cabinets to complete job description.
• Ability to drive for long periods throughout the day.
• Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between jobsites, vendors, and warehouses; to handle documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 75 pounds; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and products.
