The Erosion Company (TEC) is currently hiring a Construction Crew Driver. TEC is the largest and most experienced contractor in providing comprehensive erosion control services, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up services to clients throughout the Southeast. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Drive a company vehicle with a 2-3 person crew.
- Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among crew members.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Remove, fill, compact, and prepare the terrain.
- Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
- Perform site clean‑up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and three years verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
- Ability to understand/follow directions and take instructions in English.
- Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
- Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and cold.
- Must have prior work experience as a driver.
- Must have prior experience in operating small machineries such as Bobcat and other excavating equipment.
- Prior experience driving ½ or ¾ ton trucks, with a 20+ foot trailer attached, fully loaded.
- Bi‑lingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
