Summary DescriptionProfessionals at this level are experienced and can work with a minimum of supervision. The role focuses on telehealth crisis intervention and assessment, requiring availability for weekday evenings/overnights and weekends. Frequency of coverage is extremely flexible.
Work ScheduleOn‑call as needed. Availability from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM on weekdays and entire day coverage on weekends. Respond to crisis calls within 30 minutes via telehealth.
CompensationWeekly stipend: $140 per week and $125 per assessment completed.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Two years or more experience
Nebraska license required – LMHC or LISW
- Provide crisis intervention and assessment of clients for the Crisis Center via telehealth.
- Assess and recommend referrals within 30 minutes of initial request; complete documentation within 24 hours.
- Establish an intervention plan with client participation specifying immediate treatment needs and follow-up.
- Provide referrals to the Crisis Center’s case management program and other community services.
- Handle complex cases and be on‑call Monday through Friday and on weekends.
- Maintain clinical records and complete reports, statistics, and other required documentation in a timely, accurate manner.
- Display a courteous and caring attitude toward clients, volunteers, and visitors.
- Cooperate and collaborate with program staff, volunteers, and agency staff.
- Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Participate in internal and external training opportunities.
- Perform other program‑related duties as assigned.
