Akkodis is seeking a Data Center Technician (Junior) for a Contract job with a client in Papillion, NE
. Candidates must have experience supporting data center operations, including hardware assembly, cable installation, and manual operational tasks.
Rate Range
: $22.58/hour to $23.58/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas.
Maintain cleanliness of the working environment.
Assemble/disassemble and populate/depopulate equipment racks.
Disassemble broken or failed hardware equipment and replace parts per defined process using hand and/or power tools.
Run/install ethernet and fiber optic cable per defined process.
Operate barcode scanners and associated software tools.
Follow detailed instructions and perform other tasks as directed.
Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
3 years of general work experience in a skilled (non-technical) field.
Ability to speak and write English fluently and idiomatically.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs (23 kg) and handle medium to heavy materials.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Knowledge of computers and computer maintenance preferred.
Ability to understand and execute frequent oral and written instructions.
Manual dexterity for component-level repairs.
Must possess a smartphone or tablet during training to access the Google network.
Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules, including holidays and shift-based schedules.
Typical schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Pay Details: $22.58 to $23.58 per hour
