Each manager supervises both kitchen operations and the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and support our You First culture and core values
- Use supervisory skills to ensure daily operations run according to plan and with high standards
- Adhere to food sourcing and recipe fidelity
- Achieve and exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
- Coach teams on the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
- Implement the background story of our 10 Commitments
- Respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
- Own repair and maintenance issues quickly
- Hold food safety certification and coach safe food handling
- Scout, interview, and onboard new team members
- Secure company assets, including computers, point‑of‑sale, security systems and equipment
- Understand key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant
- Investigate and address inappropriate behavior immediately
- Train, coach, and develop team members daily
- Recognize performance that goes above and beyond
- Account for all daily revenues and deposits
- Complete administrative duties and submit required paperwork on time
