Software Engineer, Java Developer, DevOps

Overview

Lockheed Martin RMS provides mission software for the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Nuclear Deterrence Mission. Our team at Offutt Air Force Base, Bellevue, Nebraska is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to join our Global Strike and Product Support 2 engineering team, working in an Agile / Dev Sec Ops  environment to develop Web‑based and Java mission systems.

You will work with experienced software engineers executing web development best practices, full‑stack design patterns, and secure software techniques in the Rogue Blue Software (RBS) environment as part of the Integrated Strategic Planning and Analysis Network (ISPAN) Mission Planning and Application System (MPAS) systems.

• Software development and design for mission systems.
• Interaction with systems engineers, architects, scrum masters, product owners, and end users to deliver mission capabilities for USSTRATCOM.

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced but still a learner.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Ability to develop Web or Java code in an Agile / Dev Sec Ops  team environment.

• Familiarity with development tooling Eclipse, Jenkins, Git Lab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA.
• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries (React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with Web Services (REST) or JSON/XML.
• Experience with AI / ML Methodologies.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
