Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
AB Staffing is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) that are available for the 2025/2026 school year.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate, or Graduate, degree from an accredited college or university in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
- RBT Certification required
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training
- Experience in a school environment and/or with special needs population preferred
- Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and/or other related disabilities
- Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability
- Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required
Job Description:
Caseload and details of position will differ based on school location. Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset. Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 15 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for supporting the implementation of the behavioral plans for students
- Participate in on-going training in highly specialized strategies and interventions for implementing individualized behavior plans under the direction of BCBA staff
- Use training to take appropriate actions to deal with recurring behavioral situations with the supervision of the teacher
- Performs related work as required
Salary:
Up to $375 per week DOE and location
