Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of six young people with medical and developmental needs by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, monitoring vital signs, dispensing medication, implementing goals as determined by the physical and occupational therapists, going on outings or appointments with residents, providing social opportunities, maintaining a clean and safe home environment, and communicating effectively with residents, supervisors, consultants, and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with physical and occupational therapy goals
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Perform light housekeeping activities
• Dispense medication after training
• Monitor vital signs
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner
• Provide a supportive and caring environment for residents
• Collaborate effectively with others
• Learn and develop new clinical skills

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferred
• First aid and CPR certification preferred; training can be provided to the right candidate
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical
• Ability to pass a Livescan background check and drug test
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
