** Wage:** $17.13-$17.13

** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
** Check patron identification to ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage service requirements. Maintain pleasant dining experience by serving food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner, checking on guests regularly, communicating with the kitchen, and attending to guest needs. Perform setup/clean-up duties before and after each meal service including vacuuming, arranging furniture, and changing linens. Performs such other related duties as directed or required.
** SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
** Partial High School education;
High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred. National Park food service experience preferred. Ability to learn and use food service POS system including computerized cash register and credit card terminal. Mathematic skills.

Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.

Ability to recognize and solve guest problems as necessary or communicate with management when needed.
** PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
** Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.

Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.

Ability to stand for the entire workday and climbing steps regularly. Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English. Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
