Assistant Teacher PA / Program Assistant

AEL serves vulnerable children ages birth to five and their families throughout Arkansas through Early Head Start and Head Start programs, offering free infant, toddler, and pre‑K educational childcare/daycare.

• Assist staff in creating rich learning opportunities that build on daily routines and support each child’s development and education.
• Help ensure comprehensive Head Start services are provided to children and families enrolled in the program.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrative personnel to maintain a safe, nurturing, and educational center environment.

• 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Full‑time schedule with weekends off.
• 28 paid days off in the first year.
