Class A CDL Local Shuttle Driver POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The role of the CDL Driver is to safely deliver products and render outstanding service to our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Legal eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Current Class “A” CDL.
- Current Medical Card.
- Clean driving record for the last 2 years.
- Must be 22 years of age in accordance with Section 391.11(b)(1) of FMCR.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
- Ability to work well under pressure and deal tactfully with others.
- Must be willing to drive Intrastate and/or Interstate
- Familiar with DOT Regulation.
- Workdays may range between 8 to 14 hours per day.
- Work week may not exceed 70 hours.
- Conduct pre/post trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including the checking of tire pressures
