CRVCONNX is a workforce development project funded by Cal Recycle. The CRV CONNX program is scheduled to continue through Spring 2026.

• Educate, inspire, and mobilize the community about recycling efforts, specifically focusing on the CRV donation-based program.
• Engage the public through events, social media, and outreach initiatives to promote participation in recycling and highlight the benefits of our donation program.
• Engage the community with the new CRV project, answer questions, address concerns, and promote the benefits of the donation-based program at community fairs, workshops, grocery stores, and customer events.
• Foster relationships with local businesses, residents, grocers, and organizations to expand program awareness and support.
• Assist with technology: educate the community on using the donation-based App, including setup and functions.
• Act as an active marketing committee member; participate in social media platforms to promote recycling initiatives, events, and success stories.
• Prepare regular reports and evaluations to assess outreach effectiveness and inform future strategies.
• Support compliance with CRV regulations and protocols for handling, sorting, tracking, and aggregating recyclable materials.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Multi-lingual preferred.
• Available for at least 3 shifts per week, with a minimum of 2 days between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Must be able to use a smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift.
• Have reliable transportation to shifts (designated events).
• Must be tech-savvy.

• May work prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, standing at sorting tables, or standing at events.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May work evenings or weekends to accommodate activities such as servicing RVM machines or participating in events.
• Must be able to work effectively in varying weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.).
