Opportunity

As a Teller at the Paramount branch, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering retail banking products and services and ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and U.S. regulations.

How You’ll Make a Difference
  • Assist customer inquiries and requests regarding current accounts.
  • Provide a complete branch customer experience: accepting deposits and withdrawals, cashing checks, processing transfers, issuing bank checks, executing cash advances, processing loan advances and payments, and cashing savings bonds.
  • Process all types of new account transactions; cross‑sell bank products and services while working toward branch goals.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, recognize cross‑sell opportunities, and educate customers on alternative channels.
  • Conduct daily check scanning, vault settlement, ATM settlement, night drop deposits, and assist with opening/closing procedures.
  • Multitask across roles to address all transaction needs, including cash transactions and basic account openings.
  • Research and resolve cash differences.
  • Coordinate with the Branch Manager on audit responses and corrective actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all bank products and services.
  • Treat people with respect, keep commitments, inspire trust, work ethically, and uphold organizational values.
  • Follow policies and procedures; complete tasks accurately and on time to support company goals and values.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience should include background in Bank Secrecy Act compliance and general banking skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of retail banking experience in a financial services industry.
  • Intermediate math skills – calculate interest, percentages, balance accounts, and perform basic arithmetic.
  • Excellent knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, and credit products for account openings.
  • Strong relationship‑building, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Intermediate operational expertise and training in banking terminology.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional and helpful attitude and ability to interact positively with customers and coworkers.
  • Analytical ability to identify customer needs and implement effective solutions in a changing environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong accuracy.
  • Confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Capability to work with general supervision.
  • Effective telephone communication skills.

Salary Range

The base salary offered will be based on education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, and market data.
