Carlton Forge Works produces seamless rolled rings as well as open and closed‑die forgings for the aerospace, gas turbine, industrial, commercial, and nuclear industries while using one of the most extensive lines of equipment and truly skilled craftsmen anywhere.

To provide basic maintenance, repair, installation, cleaning and modification of equipment related to forklifts.

• Safety adherence
• Preventative Maintenance Schedule Adherence
• Ability to handle parts without damaging people, parts or property
• Timely and accurate record keeping

• Recognizes, investigates and reports findings on maintenance problems related to forklifts.
• Ability to troubleshoot/repair forklift/manipulator problems.
• Hydraulic: leaks, resealing of cylinders, overhaul of control valves, etc.
• Electrical: starting problems, wiring repairs, etc.
• Mechanical: engine tune ups, Engine/Transmission replacement, mast repairs.
• Assign shift work and train new employees as needed.
• Obtain/order necessary parts using service manuals.
• Attend meetings to discuss equipment issues or problems.

• 3+ years forklift repair experience
• High school diploma preferred
• Must be able to read and write English
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Self‑motivated and positive attitude
• Commitment to safety and quality
