We are very excited to find our new Associate Director of Nursing to join our incredible team at our
148-bed Gero-Psychiatric center. Our facility treats adults 55+.
This position is for a nurse looking to take the next step in their career! Our ADON will work collaboratively with our Director of Nursing to establish departmental goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies, and procedures.
This is a full-time Monday through Friday position.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have at least four (4) years of experience - two (2) years in psychiatric nursing and two (2) years in a supervisory capacity; OR a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related field and two (2) years of experience in psychiatric nursing, including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity, MSN Preferred.
- Current valid licensure as an RN in the state of California
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
