Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff. Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition and participates in discharge planning.

• Maintain standards of nursing care and implement policies.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care provided to patients.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff scope of practice.
• Document patient admission assessment, care plans, and other pertinent information.
• Perform assessments, develop and revise care plans, and coordinate with the team.
• Administer medications, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff.
• Respond to emergencies and provide end-of-shift reports.

• Knowledge of medications and correct administration.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to organize tasks, set priorities, and function under stress.
• Positive working relationships within and outside the department.

Pay Range: $44.38‑$56.28/hr.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma.

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

• Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
