$30.00/hr - $50.00/hr

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be a vital team member responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy construction equipment. The right candidate will be positive, self‑motivated, and willing to learn. Pay will be based on experience. A minimum of 2‑3 years mechanic experience is required. Yellow Iron experience is a plus. Knowledge of the Foundation Drilling Industry is a plus.

• Service and repair foundation drilling equipment, heavy construction equipment, and diesel mechanics. Hydraulic knowledge and experience with electrical schematics are necessary.
• Perform general maintenance on all office equipment such as forklifts and service trucks.
• Communicate with the office/shop on a daily schedule.
• Maintain the service truck organized and clean.
• Stock the service truck with correct parts, tools, etc.
• Maintain punctuality: show up on time, start a job on time.
• Welding experience is beneficial.
• Travel out of state will be required from time to time.
• Once trained, travel opportunities are available. Travel costs are paid for, including the service trucks or rental car/flights and hotel accommodations. Travel opportunities can include the western U.S. and western Canada. Western Equipment Solutions has offices in Salt Lake City, Utah;
  Paramount, California; and Nisku, Alberta, Canada.
