CRV Field Technician

CRVCONNX is a workforce development project funded by Cal Recycle. The CRV CONNX program is scheduled to continue through Spring 2026.

CRV CONNX is looking to hire CRV Field Technician(s) to undergo comprehensive training and work across all aspects of our CRV Project Operations. As a CRV Field Technician, you will be responsible for gathering CRV materials from various sources, including RVM machines, participating grocers/retailers, events, and more. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient collection and transportation of recyclable materials, contributing directly to our commitment to environmental sustainability and supporting our customers.

• Drive pre‑determined routes, loading and unloading recycling materials into the van/box truck.
• Provide light‑duty maintenance on the RVMs stationed at participating sponsored locations.
• Serve as the face of our CRV project while serving our customers out in the field.

• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to handle and transport CRV beverage containers within the Hub.
• Ensure compliance with CRV regulations and protocols for handling, sorting, tracking, and aggregating recyclable materials.
• Maintain accurate records of CRV materials received and shipped from the Hub.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize Hub operations.

• Safely drive company van/box truck on scheduled routes through Los Angeles County cities.
• Pick up CRV/recycling and load it into the vehicle for transport.
• Unload bags of recycling back at the Hub and processing facilities.
• Service and light maintenance duty to RVM machines in participating grocery stores/sponsored locations.
• Ensure compliance with CRV regulations and protocols for handling, tracking, and aggregating recyclable materials.
• Maintain accurate records of CRV materials processed and shipped from the Hub.

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and no or minimal traffic moving violations.
• Ability to lift bags of recycled items up to 50 lbs.

Hourly rate $20‑22.

• May experience prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, standing at the Hub’s sorting tables, or standing at events.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• May work evening or weekend hours to accommodate activities such as servicing RVM machines or participating in events.
• Must remain calm in stressful driving situations (traffic, etc.).
