Controller, Accounting, Accounting Manager

We are seeking a Controller for our client. This is a highly visible role responsible for producing financial reports and managing the accounting department.

Functions:

• Prepare and manage the month-end close and financial package for the CFO and C-Suite/Board of Directors. Prepare SALT tax returns, variance analysis, sales reports, flash reports, and expense analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable while ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare financial reports for the corporate office and lead internal/external audits.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • MBA and/or CPA is highly regarded.
• 5-15 years of experience as a manager in an Accounting department.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting ERP systems, MS Excel, and multi-tasking abilities.
