We are currently seeking an experienced, ambitious, and dynamic Tax Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position within our Accounting and Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring all tax-related operations within the company. This critical role involves working closely with high net worth individuals and corporations, handling federal and state tax matters, and ensuring tax compliance at all levels.

Responsibilities:
As our Tax Manager, you'll have the opportunity to take on a diverse range of responsibilities that include:
1. Overseeing and managing all company tax planning and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
2. Preparing and reviewing tax returns for high net worth individuals and corporations.
3. Developing tax strategies to optimize business transactions and operations.
4. Providing expert tax advice to senior management for decision making.
5. Leading and coordinating internal and external tax audits.
6. Staying updated on tax laws and regulations and ensuring company-wide compliance.
7. Collaborating with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
8. Providing leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff members.
9. Working on special projects related to tax planning and strategy as required.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, EA) is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience, preferably in a public accounting or consulting firm.
3. Extensive experience with federal and state tax, tax review, and tax returns.
4. Proven experience working with high net worth individuals and corporations.
5. Excellent knowledge of tax planning and strategy.
6. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing teams.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 10. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
