Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000

Summary: Bus Company Holdings US, LLC (dba Coach USA), a motorcoach transportation company, is looking for a full-time Director of Business Development with 3-5 years of experience. The Director of BD is a strategic leader responsible for driving organizational growth and revenue by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities and executing business development plans. This role involves building and nurturing high-value partnerships, expanding market presence, and aligning business development initiatives with the company’s long-term objectives.

The ideal candidate is results-driven, relationship-focused, and skilled at turning strategic vision into measurable outcomes, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and a strong competitive position in the market. The incumbent will report to the VP of BD.

• Create and implement strategies to find new business opportunities, enter new markets and achieve company growth objectives
• Analyze market trends assessing competitive landscapes and creating innovative strategies to capture emerging opportunities
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential customers, and competitive threats
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders
• Drive the sales process from initial contact to negotiation and closing new business deals
• Develop compelling content for proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients and partners
• Work with other departments, such as commercial, operations, maintenance, and safety, to align strategies and achieve shared goals
• Collaborate closely with Executive leadership, sales, and marketing to ensure cohesive growth plans while also representing the company at industry events

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in sales and business development
• 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, transportation industry preferred
• Ability to develop creative solutions and long-term strategies to meet customer and business needs
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure beneficial agreements for the organization
• Ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable plans
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build rapport
• Proven ability to cultivate and leverage a professional network to find opportunities and build partnerships
