Cardiac Intensivist - Cardiac Critical Care

Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Cardiac Intensivist Cardiac Critical Care to join our growing Cardiovascular Service Line.

The Cardiac Intensivist Physician provides comprehensive inpatient care for cardiac critical care patients at The Valley Hospital. This role focuses exclusively on hospitalized patients with acute and complex cardiovascular conditions, delivering evidence-based management in a high-acuity setting. The physician ensures continuity of care, collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary critical care and cardiology teams, and supports system initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

The position requires active participation in on-call coverage, adherence to regulatory and quality standards, and ongoing contributions to the growth and excellence of Valley s cardiac critical care services.

Qualifications

• An MD or DO
• Board eligible or certification in Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine, or Critical Care Medicine, or Critical Care Medicine and Cardiology with experience in cardiac surgery critical care or surgical critical care preferred.
• Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required
