What is the role and responsibilities?
- Run your own financial‑advising practice with the support of experienced advisors.
- Build an extensive professional network and establish your own clientele through strategic business networking.
- Introduce individuals, families, and businesses to Northwestern Mutual’s unique planning process to create customized financial plans designed to bring long‑term financial security to your clients.
- Obtain required financial licenses with study courses and exams paid for on behalf of Northwestern Mutual.
How will I be supported?
- The program and its directors will provide formal training prior to your official start, with ongoing support throughout the program by seasoned financial advisors, including weekly development workshops.
- All accepted applicants will receive access to study materials in advance, allowing you to prepare to pass your Life, Accident, and Health (17‑55) Exam before the internship begins.
- You will be taught professional networking, wealth management strategies, client interaction, and sales skills.
