Location: 610 Valley Health Plaza, Paramus, NJ

Type: Full-time, On-site

Salary: $55,000 - $58,000 annually

Job Summary

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing services to adults 18+ experiencing behavioral health crises. Your responsibilities include crisis intervention, assessments, stabilization, and developing recovery plans. You will monitor patient behaviors, ensure safety, and collaborate with clinical staff to support recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in intake assessments, treatment planning, and goal setting
  • Observe and support consumers at the CRSC
  • Assist consumers in meeting their goals and coordinate with support systems
  • Manage transportation needs
  • Assist with triage and documentation according to standards
  • Provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitate social activities
  • Coordinate case management and community resource navigation
  • Support consumer transition post-discharge
  • Attend supervision and team meetings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution
  • At least 1+ years of experience with individuals with SMI and SUD
  • Bilingual preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable record
